FLOAT TRIP 2007!!!!!

Float Trip 2007:
Christine, Tosha and Kirsten:
We floated the Elk River in Neosho. For the record, we do not reccomend this float. It was unusually crowded and not as pretty as some of the other rivers we've floated. We did have a great time though. Kirsten flew out from Denver to join us and Christine got drunk and fell out of her canoe!

FAMILY

Here is the family in our living room. Me, Collin, Aiden, Brenden and Kenny. Brenden wasn't very happy about having to sit for this picture, hence the scowl on his face.

GARDENING

SEE HOW OUR GARDEN GROWS:
A tip from Kenny's grandmother to pour a gallon of water mixed with epsom salts over the tomato plants seems to work. Our tomato's have gone crazy and each plant has 10 to 12 tomato's. We are taking 5 or 6 cucmbers out of the garden every day! Who knew?

FAVORITE QUOTES

Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions.
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

Good Judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
Unknown Author

To be pleased with one's limits is a wretched state.
John Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary, from time to time, to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.
Miss Piggy

Cowardice asks the question
Is it safe?
Expediency asks the question
Is it politic?
Vanity asks the question
Is it popular?
But conscience asks the question
Is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it
BECAUSE it is right.
Dr. Martin Luther King
